Mohammad Hossein Ghanian is a graduate of Polymer Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology. After completing his undergraduate studies in Chemical Engineering at Isfahan University of Technology in 2010, he continued his education in the Biocompatible Polymers group at the Iran Polymer and Petrochemical Institute. In the same year, he joined the Cell Engineering Research Program at Royan Institute. His collaboration with over 25 research projects at this institute has led to the publication of 30 scientific papers in the fields of drug delivery system design and fabrication, as well as solid and hydrogel scaffolds for tissue engineering applications. Ghanian’s research approach is problem-oriented, grounded in real-world challenges and clinical needs of the country. Based on this perspective, his projects—focusing on advanced drug delivery systems for biologics, assisted reproductive tools, bioadhesives, and novel bioinks for bioprinting—are currently progressing toward commercialization.
