Flow Cytometry Laboratory The Royan Flow Cytometry Laboratory, located within the Research Institute of Biology and Stem Cell Technology, was established in 2007 with the aim of providing flow cytometry services for both research and clinical applications. Today, the lab continues to offer specialized services to cellular and medical researchers across the country.

Guide for Requesting Flow Cytometry Lab Services and Booking Appointments

1. Service Request Submission Send a request letter for flow cytometry services via fax to (121-22522522). ➤ Note: Submit the fax at least three weeks prior to the intended appointment date.
2. Approval Timeline Since letter approval takes approximately one week, please contact the lab to confirm status after this period.
3. Time Slot Booking
   • BD FACS Aria Device (Reading Services): Reserve your desired time slot at least 2 days in advance.
   • BD FACS Calibur II Device (Cell Sorting): Reserve your slot at least one week in advance. ➤ Important: Due to limited access, only one sorting session is conducted per day on the BD FACS Aria II. ➤ Suggested Sorting Times: Book open and available slots in 11:00–12:00 or 12:00–15:21 time frames.
4. Sample Preparation Prepare samples according to the lab’s provided protocols listed under “Instructions and Protocols.”
5. Sample Delivery Submit samples to the lab exactly at the booked time. ➤ Note: Responsibility for delays or sample damage rests with the requester.
