The Royan Cell Therapy Center, relying on the scientific authority and technical knowledge of the Royan Research Institute and years of experience and research in the field of regenerative medicine, was inaugurated on January 6, 2009. This date coincided with the third anniversary of the passing of the late eminent scientist, Dr. Saeed Kazemi Ashtiani, and marked the center's establishment as the first cell therapy center in the country.
