About Us

The Royan Diabetes, Obesity, and Metabolism Center is an integrated center for research, education, and clinical care. Established in 2015 as an affiliate of the Royan Institute, the center is dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and research of diabetes and other metabolic disorders.

Using a multidisciplinary approach, our team of specialists provides comprehensive care in endocrinology, diabetes management, nutrition, exercise physiology, psychology, optometry, and wound care. By combining teamwork with the latest scientific knowledge, advanced technologies, and evidence-based treatments, we offer personalized care to help individuals with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes achieve the best possible health outcomes and improve their quality of life.

Located in Tehran, Iran, the Royan Diabetes Center also includes a research division that conducts state-of-the-art clinical trials and investigates the effects of lifestyle interventions—including physical activity, weight management, and other behavioral factors—on diabetes prevention and treatment.
